Plumbing emergency? Dont panic!
If you have a plumbing emergency or need a 24hr plumber this guide will help you to minimise the damage and help us to get it fixed as quickly as possible! Typically a plumbing emergency is a leak or a blockage, and both can normally be easily fixed. It is important to not panic, if you need help give us a call on 0274 282 748.
If you have a leak often the best course of action is to turn off the main water supply to your house until we arrive. This is normally located just after your water meter by the street. In modern homes, they can also be located inside the house, often in a panel in the wall of a garage or cupboard.
If you have a leak on an appliance or seperate utility like a diswasher or washing machine, you can often turn of the water and power to just that appliance, rather than the whole house.

No hot water!
Not much fun, no one likes a cold shower! Give us a call and we will come and find out the issue for you as soon as possible. We wont leave you without hot water.
Hot water cylinder is leaking
This could be one of several issues. If is leaking out the vent in the roof you simply need to call us and we will repair it. If it is leaking onto the floor, switch off the power to the cylinder and call us and we will be there as soon as we can.
Tap wont turn off
To stop the tap flowing turn off the water supply to your house. If the tap is a hot tap you may want to switch off the power to your hot water cylinder to stop it running dry. Call us and we wil have our licensed plumber there as soon as we can.
Blocked drain
If a drain is completely blocked, don't use drain cleaner to try to unblock it as it will form a caustic solution. If a plunger doesn't work, give us a call and we will unblock ift for you.
Clogged Toilet
If a toilet is overflowing, stop the water by reaching into the cistern and pushing the tank stopper down. If your toilet is badly blocked and you cant unblock it, call us for assistance!
